Laura Altenburger (Feasterville, Pa./Neshaminy) hit her third home run of the season, a two-run shot, during a seven-run second that put WCU in front, 8-0.

Walasavage was 3-for-4 in the night cap, finishing off a combined 4-for-8 effort at the plate Wednesday. West Chester opened up a 1-0 game with a five-run fifth. The Golden Rams then added a single tally in the sixth and four more in the seventh to put the game out of reach.
Sara Ercolani (Downingtown, Pa./Downingtown East) was 2-for-4 with three RBI in game two. Her two-run double in the seventh was part of that four-run rally.
Amanda Houck (Gap, Pa./Pequea Valley) improved to 13-3 on the season with the win inside the circle in game two. She threw six strong innings, yielding two hits, walking one and striking out eight.
Ashley Flesch (Burke, Va./Lake Braddock) pitched a scoreless seventh to finish out the game.
