WEST CHESTER, Pa. – West Chester University's women's swimming & diving squad won seven events in sweeping a tri-meet with Bloomsburg and Lehigh inside Graham Natatorium Friday evening.

West Chester, ranked 10th in the latest CSCAA Division II poll, topped Division I opponent Lehigh, 134-109, while outdistancing PSAC rival Bloomsburg, 171-66. It marked the first time since 2012-13 that the Golden Rams' ladies upended the Mountain Hawks, halting a four-year losing streak to the Patriot League foe.

West Chester's 400-yard medley relay started off the day with a win. The foursome of
Megan Burns (Wallingford, Pa./Strath Haven),
Morgan Haney (Lititz, Pa./Warwick),
Meghan Keithly (Downingtown, Pa./Downingtown West) and
Sydney Wareham (Mount Joy, Pa./Donegal) touched the wall in 3 minutes, 56.69 seconds.

Georgia Wright (Doncaster, UK) was a double winner Friday, taking first place in both the 1000 freestyle and the 500 free. She is the reigning Division II national champion in the 1000 free. She won that race by 20 seconds over her closest competitor from Lehigh with a time of 10:19.69. Teammate
Kimmi Szajnuk (Enola, Pa./Trinity) was third in 10:47.93.

Julia McCarthy (Bethlehem, Pa./Liberty) won the 200 free with a time of 1:54.23.

West Chester's 200 free relay team consisting of Haney,
Morgan Haines (Reinholds, Pa./Cocalico),
Mikayla Lantz (Reading, Pa./Reading) and
Megan Sensenig (Wyomissing, Pa./Wilson) posted a winning time of 1:37.38.

Off the diving boards,
Nadia Mulder (Hummelstown, Pa./Hershey) won the 1-meter springboard competition while
Grace Harvey (Norristown, Pa./Norristown) won the 3-meter competition. Mulder was runner-up off the 3m board.
Lindsey Pope (York Haven, Pa./Northeastern) placed third off the 1m.

West Chester returns to the pool on Nov. 3-4 at the Thomas Murphy Invitational at Loyola University (Md.), along with Drexel and Johns Hopkins.
