Amanda Houck (Gap, Pa./Pequea Valley) tossed a three-hit shutout to lift West Chester over Ohio Dominican at the PFX Games during the team's spring trip to Florida Thursday evening.

West Chester (13-5) has now won four in a row in the Sunshine State and six of its last seven. Overall, the Golden Rams are 7-2 on their spring break.

Houck was masterful in keeping Ohio Dominican (11-11) off balance all evening. He struck out six and walked just one in the complete-game effort.

West Chester scored both of its runs in the fourth inning when
Cat Hammer (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) reached on an error to lead off the frame.
Alyssa Herion (Avon Grove, Pa./Avon Grove) followed with a double to pushed pinch runner,
Sarah Byham (West Hampton, N.J./Holy Cross), to third.
Emily Maseth (Westminster, Md./Westminster) and
Madison Kelly (Whitehall, Pa./Whitehall) each hit RBI singles to plate the Rams' two runs – both of which were unearned.

Ohio Dominican's Abby Lamping (5-5) was almost equally impressive. She pitched a complete game, allowing two unearned runs on six hits while walking one and striking out four.

West Chester concludes its southern swing on Friday with games against Dominican College and Edinboro.
