JOHNSTOWN, Pa. - The West Chester University men's soccer team (4-1-1, 3-0 PSAC) traveled on the road this afternoon to take on Pitt-Johnstown(0-5-1, 0-3 PSAC)) in a midseason PSAC matchup. West Chester would go on to win by a final score of 4-0.

How it Happened:
  • The Golden Rams got on the board first in the 31st minute when Jason Pixley(Philadelphia, Pa./ Central) used a header to beat the keeper off a Andrew Slater(Hanover, Pa./ South West) to throw in to gain the 1-0 lead.
  • Pixley made an impact again just over a minute later when he assisted Tyler Rapposelli(Reading, Pa./ Fleetwood) to give West Chester a 2-0 lead.
  • The offense would not stop here as just five minutes later Rapposelli broke through again when he headed in a free kick from the top of the box off the foot of Nicholas Meola(Avondale, Pa./ Kennett).
  • Rapposelli would continue his big day in the second half as he scored again in the 68th minute off an assist from Giovanni Mowrey(Bethlehem, Pa./ Notre Dame Green Pond) to record the hattrick and move the lead to 4-0.
  • Matt Palmer(Bangor, Pa./ Bangor) went the distance once again recording another shutout victory to improve his record for the season to 3-0-1.
