BLOOMSBURG, Pa. –
Mikayla Lantz (Reading, Pa./Reading) picked up a pair of wins while visiting West Chester claimed first place in nine of the 11 events in a dual meet at Bloomsburg Friday evening. The Golden Rams topped the Huskies, 145-60.
West Chester (4-1) set the tone for the meet with a nice leadoff win in the 200 medley relay, and that momentum carried right through until the final relay win in the 200 free relay.
Liz Miller (Levittown, Pa,/Neshaminy),
Ann Carozza (West Chester, Pa./East) and
Sydney Wareham (Mt. Joy, Pa./Donegal) were members of both relay wins.
How it Happened
- West Chester claimed the top two spots in three events
- Megan Burns (Wallingford, Pa./Strath Haven) won the 200 Individual Medley and placed second in the 100 Backstroke.
- Miller was a winner in the 100 back while swimming both relays that won.
- Lantz won the 50 free and the 100 free while Julia McCarthy (Bethlehem, Pa./Liberty) won the 500 free.
