WEST CHESTER, Pa. – A total of 10 different players found the back of the net, led by
Tatum Altman (North Brunswick, N.J./North Brunswick) and
Sami Barnett (Glenolden, Pa./Interboro), who each tallied four times, as host and 15th-ranked West Chester topped visiting Jefferson, 24-1, in a steady drizzle Thursday evening at Vonnie Gros Field.

West Chester (2-0) controlled possession and the flow of the game throughout, scoring the first nine goals of the game and then finishing with 15 unanswered in the rout.

Altman led all scorers with seven points (4G, 3A) while Barnett marked five times (4G, 1A).
Trisha Baud (West Deptford, N.J./West Deptford) registered five points off the bench as well (2G, 3A), including a stint late in the first half when she had a hand in four of the final six WCU goals before the break.

Emily Schulze (Harleysville, Pa./North Penn) and
Tara Morrissey (Downingtown, Pa./Bishop Shanahan) each posted a hat trick.
Maggie Stella (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks East) and
Alex Wendig (West Chester, Pa./Bishop Shanahan) each scored a pair of goals and finished with three points as well.
Sydney Bachmayer (Hatboro, Pa./Upper Moreland) tallied twice.

Nicole Martins (Bethlehem, Pa./Saucon Valley) (2-0) made four saves in the first half to record the win in the cage.
Julianne Clemens (Springfield, Pa./Springfield DELCO) made two saves in the second half.
