WEST CHESTER, Pa.- Due to the weather forecast for Friday afternoon the West Chester University softball (43-13) and Gannon University softball (32-13) coaching staffs have reached an agreement to alter the schedule of its Super Regional series scheduled for this weekend.
The two teams were originally scheduled to face one another once on Thursday afternoon at 1 p.m. and at least once (twice if necessary) on Friday at 12 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. The teams will now attempt to play twice on Thursday afternoon at 1 p.m. with game two scheduled to begin thirty minutes following the conclusion of game one and if game three is needed the teams will attempt to play at 12 p.m. on Friday.
