WEST CHESTER, Pa. - Seniors Ryan McKinney (Downingtown, Pa./Downingtown West), Sami Barnett (Glenolden, Pa./Interboro) and Maggie Stella (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks East) stole the show on Senior Day as each recorded a hat trick to lead No. 8 West Chester to a 17-2 women's lacrosse victory over visiting Edinboro on a beautiful, sun-splashed Saturday afternoon at Vonnie Gros Field.

West Chester (11-2, 7-1 PSAC) heated up right away, as temperatures approached the 80-degree mark, by scoring three goals in the first four minutes against Edinboro (1-12, 1-7). The Golden Rams scored the first six goals of the game in all to put the Fighting Scots away early.

McKinney and Barnett each finished with a game-high five points (3 goals, 2 assists each) while Stella turned in a four-point effort (3 goals, 1 assist). Defenders Cate Zuccarello (Hillsborough, N.J./Hillsborough) and Maddie Staska (West Chester, Pa./Bishop Shanahan) got in on the scoring in the first half with each senior collecting their first career tallies. Rachel Noble (Wall, N.J./Wall) scored twice during the game as well.

Julianne Clemens (Springfield, Pa./Springfield-DELCO) played the first half and made four saves to pick up the win. Nicole Martins (Souderton, Pa./Saucon Valley) made four saves in the second half.
