WEST CHESTER, Pa. - West Chester University women's rugby is 3-0 following its 50-17 victory over Sacred Heart on Saturday.
Corinne Gallagher (Coastesville, Pa. / Coateseville) and
Grace Larko (Vandergrift, Pa. / Kiski Area) each tallied two tries for the Golden Rams.

How it happened:
- West Chester got out to an early lead, scoring two tries within the first ten minutes of action. Gallagher and Lauren Madalian (Randolph, N.J. / Randolph High School) scored the tries. Kylie Corless (Wrightstown, Pa. / Archbishop Wood High School) successfully completed one conversion, giving West Chester an early 12-0 lead.
- Gallagher scored her second try in the 18th minute. Corless completed the conversion, giving the Golden Rams a 19-0 lead.
- Sacred Heart scored a try in the 30th minute, cutting the lead to 19-5.
- The Golden Rams got on the board quickly in the second half as Larko scored a try. Corless' conversion gave West Chester a 26-5 lead.
- The Pioneers scored in the 58th minute. Youngblood's second try of the day made the score 26-10.
- The Golden Rams responded by scoring two tries within the next seven minutes. Kelsey Diabo (Stroudsburg, PA / Pleasant Valley) and Larko each scored, with Corless recording an additional conversion to give West Chester a 38-10 lead.
- Sacred Heart's Isabel Cuddy scored two minutes later to make the score 38-17.
- West Chester scored two more tries in the 70th and 72nd minutes. Autumn Czaplicki (Pillow, Pa. / Line Mountain High School) and Lauren Madalian (Randolph, N.J. / Randolph High School) scored the tries. Corless tacked on another conversion. The final score of the contest was 50-17.

- Larko and Madalian now lead the team with four tries each.
- Corless has recorded eleven of West Chester's twelve conversions for the season, and she's now the team leader with 22 points.
