FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - No. 5-ranked West Chester University women's swimming capped off its annual Florida winter break trip with a dual meet at No. 6 Nova Southeastern University and lost 122-83 on Friday.

Mikaela Lantz (Reading, Pa. / Reading) stood out despite the loss, taking first place in two individual events and one relay. She won the 50-meter freestyle in 24.01 seconds, which is a B-cut qualifying time for the NCAA National Championships. She also took first in the 100 freestyle in 53.36 seconds.

Julia McCarthy (Bethlehem, Pa. / Liberty) and sophomore
Ann Carozza (West Chester, Pa. / West Chester East) teamed up in the 200 freestyle relay and won the race in 1:36.83.

McCarthy also earned first place in the 200 freestyle in 1:54.42.
