BABSON PARK, Fla. - West Chester University men's tennis sophomore
Brett Spano (Chadds Ford, Pa.) picked up a 6-0, 6-3 victory in the No. 5 singles spot, but the Golden Rams fell to Webber International University, 5-2, on Saturday. It was the first action of the spring season for West Chester.

Spano also earned a default win with freshman
Christoph Baroudi (Gambrills, Md. / Arundel) in third doubles. However, the Warriors won the other two doubles matches to pick up the point for that portion of the day.

Devin Paulison (Milford, Pa. / Delaware Valley) put up a good fight in No. 4 singles but ultimately lost 6-4, 6-4. Sophomore
Noah DeCampo (Littlestown, Pa. / Littlestown) won by default in the sixth spot to round out the scoring for West Chester on the day.

The Golden Rams are in action at Eckerd College on Sunday at 11 a.m. West Chester now has a 2-3 record in dual matches between the fall and spring seasons.
