MEET RESULTS
NEW YORK – Ann Carozza (West Chester, Pa./East) won three individual events and helped the 200-yard medley relay to another win as West Chester's women's squad upended host New York University, 157-143, inside Palladium Athletic Center Saturday afternoon.
Carozza won both the 100 and 200 freestyle and the 100 butterfly easily. She also swam the third leg of the relay that won in a time of 1 minute, 49.31 seconds. West Chester took first and second in the 200 medley relay.
"The 200 medley relays set the tone for the meet, finishing one-two," WCU head coach
Steve Mazurek said. "We didn't have enough women to fill out each heat. So, everyone had to perform, and they did."
The Golden Rams' ladies won 12 of the events, and the diving team put up a pair of third and fourth-place efforts to contribute to the win.
