Â

Â
The quarterfinals will be a battle between the No.2 and No.3 seeds from the PSAC Eastern Division standings. Bloomsburg (12-4-2, 11-3-2) and West Chester (11-3-2, 11-3-2) both recorded 35 points to tie for second overall. However, the Huskies were 1-0-1 in the two regular-season meetings to earn the second seed.
Â
The first time the PSAC rivals met this season, the Huskies tallied a 1-0 win on an own goal at Rockwell Field. The two teams came to a scoreless draw after 110 minutes of action in their second match at Steph Pettit Stadium last week.
Â
The Golden Rams' goalkeeper,
Hayley McGee (Mechanicsburg, PA/Cumberland), has been one of the strongest in the conference this season. McGee totaled over 1,300 match minutes and 69 saves for West Chester. The goalie was awarded Defensive Player of the Week three times this season.
Â
Midfielder,
Kaitlynn Haughey (Philadelphia, PA/Penn Charter), turned in an impressive rookie season as well. The freshman has six goals on the year. The midfielder was named Athlete of the Week back in September after she scored twice to help lift the Golden Rams to two wins in the same week.
Â
The winner of West Chester-Bloomsburg contest advances to the PSAC Semifinals, held at the site of the highest remaining seed out of the Eastern Division following the quarterfinals.
