West Chester Tops Millersville

MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - West Chester women's lacrosse defeated Millersville on the road on Wednesday afternoon, 19-1. The Golden Rams improve their season record to 8-0 and remain undefeated in the conference.
 
West Chester only allowed one goal by the Marauders which was scored in the 10^th minute of the first half by Amanda Juliano. 
 
Senior Trisha Baud (West Deptford, NJ./West Deptford) finished the game with seven points (5 goals, 2 assists each) in today's PSAC match-up. Graduate student Tatum Altman (North Brunswick, NJ./North Brunswick) had four goals and two assists for six points on the day. Altman leads the team with 29 goals this season and Baud not far behind her with 22 goals.  Junior Lindsay Monigle (Rehoboth Beach, Del./Cape Henlopen) also had four goals on five shots this afternoon.
 
Freshman Hannah Stanislawcyzk (Mohnton, Pa./Governor Mifflin/St. Joseph's) tallied three goals, two assists, and completed six successful draw controls against the Marauders. 
 
Kelly Baumann (South Huntington, NY./Walt Whitman/Albright), Drew McKinney (Downingtown, Pa./Downingtown West), Tara Morrissey (Downingtown, Pa./ Bishop Shanahan), and Grace Frasso (Cinnaminson, NJ./Cinnaminson) all contributed one goal each in today's contest.
 
Senior Julianne Clemens (Springfield, Pa./Springfield (Delco)) played 50 minutes of the game, had eight saves and only allowed one goal to pick up the win. 
 
The Golden Rams are back on Vonnie Gros Field on Saturday to face off against East Stroudsburg at 1 p.m.
