EAST STROUDSBURG, PA – Host East Stroudsburg went on a 7-0 run, around a weather delay, in the first half and then rode a stout defensive effort to a 13-9 victory over visiting West Chester in the Atlantic Region Final of the NCAA Division II Tournament at Eiler-Martin Stadium Sunday afternoon.
Trisha Baud (West Deptford, N.J./West Deptford) scored three goals and added an assist to lead the Golden Rams (13-1) in the scoring column.
Hannah Stanislawczyk (Mohnton, Pa./Gov. Mifflin) registered a hat trick as well. She also chipped in three ground balls, three caused turnovers and five draw controls.
East Stroudsburg (12-3) heads to Salem, Va., for the national semifinals for the second time in six years.
