Belle Vernon, Pa. – Jacob Sokalsky (Garnet Valley, PA/Garnet Valley) posted a career-low round to lead West Chester University's men's golf squad on Day One of the Vulcan Invitational hosted by Cal U at the Cedarbrook Golf Course on Sunday.
Due to weather, the teams could not finish all 36 holes on Day One and the second round was completed Monday morning. After completion of the second round, the Golden Rams finished tied for fourth place with Shepherd University.
Sokalsky finished round one with a career-low at 67 (4-under-par). The Golden Ram marked a career best at 70, one year ago at the same event.
