EAST STROUDSBURG, PA – Host East Stroudsburg scored once in the first half, and added two more late in the second, en route to a 3-0 shutout over visiting West Chester in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) women's soccer match at Eiler-Martin Stadium Saturday.
West Chester fell to 6-3-1 overall and 6-3-0 in the conference while East Stroudsburg improved to 9-1-1 overall and 7-1-1 in the conference.
East Stroudsburg avenged a 1-0 blanking at Rockwell Field earlier in the year to pick up a split of the regular-season series with West Chester. Freshman goalkeeper
Grace Keen (Lincoln University, Pa./Avon Grove) made seven saves in the loss.
West Chester returns to Rockwell Field on Wednesday for a 1 p.m. clash with Shippensburg. The Golden Rams defeated the Raiders, 4-0, back in early September in the first meeting between the two PSAC rivals.
