ARLINGTON, VA - West Chester University's men's tennis squad downed Marymount University, 6-3, in a non-league tennis match during Spring Break Week for the Golden Rams.
West Chester took two out of three doubles matches, before winning four of the six singles that followed. Freshman
Andrew Poprik (West Chester, Pa./Unionville) teamed with
Felix Weber (Wolfenbuettel, Germany) at third doubles for that tandem's second win in as many days. He then finished off the day with a straight-set 6-0, 6-0 win for the second straight day as well to conclude the two-day swing in Virginia at 4-0 overall.
Lucas Henke (Rockwall, Texas/Rockwall-Heath) and
Sam Robertson (Reading, Pa./Berks Catholic) teamed up for a win at second doubles for the second day in a row. Henke then tacked on a win at third singles to finish his week at 4-0 as well.
