SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV - West Chester University's men's tennis squad got a match-clinching victory from
Aidan Cashin (Mount Laurel, N.J./Lenape) at fourth singles to pick up a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) victory over host Shepherd on Saturday afternoon.
West Chester (3-6, 1-1 PSAC) picked up its first conference win of the year while Shepherd fell to 3-8 overall and 0-2 in the league.
West Chester was successful in second and third doubles to claim the one point. The Golden Rams then won fifth and sixth singles, before Cashin finished out a straight-set victory at fourth singles to clinch the win.
West Chester travels to Frostburg State on Sunday for a non-league match.
