LEBANON, Pa.- Connor Strine (Lancaster, Pa./Manheim Township) and
Ryan D'Ariano (West Chester, Pa./Rustin) returned to action for the final round of the 54-hole NCAA Division Atlantic/East Regional Tournament at the Par-72 Iron Valley Golf Club in Lebanon, Pa. D'Ariano fired an even-par round of 72 to move into a tie for 16
th in the 108-player field while Strine shot a five-over 77 to finish in a tie for 41
st.
D'Ariano continued climbing up the leaderboard with an even-par round of 72, which saw him play the front nine at two under thanks to birdies on the second, third, and fifth. The freshman recorded his final birdie of the day on the 16th, which proved crucial to helping him finish the day even par after a costly double bogey on 17 combined with his first bogey of the back nine on 15. This effort helped D'Ariano finish in a tie for 16th on the Tournament, climbing 12 spots from his second-round placement with a 54-hole score of 224 (+8).
D'Ariano ranked among the best players in the field in stroke average on the par fours of Iron Valley, ending the weekend with a 4.13 (+4) average for the Tournament.
Strine started his day with a bogey on the first before bouncing back with a birdie at the par-four fourth. Strine closed out the front nine with a four-over 40 after doubling the fifth and recording a bogey on the eighth and ninth to close out the opening nine.
On the back nine, Strine birdied the 11th and 16th but registered a bogey on the 12th, along with each of the final two holes, to finish his day with a five-over 77. This effort led to him finishing the Tournament in a tie for 41st with a 54-hole score of +14 (230).
