ORLANDO, FL - West Chester's men's tennis team was back in action Wednesday afternoon, but dropped a 5-2 decision to No. 19 Lubbock Christian at the USTA National Campus.
West Chester (1-4) picked up wins at fifth and sixth singles by
Cesar DeJesus-Morales (San Juan, Puerto Rico) and
Aidan Cashin (Mount Laurel, N.J./Lenape), respectively, while also claiming a win at third doubles by
Andres Urrutia (Guatemala City, Guatemala) and DeJesus-Morales. However, Lubbock Christian (10-2) won the other two doubles to take the one point while also winning first through fourth singles for the win.
West Chester concludes its southern swing through the Sunshine State on Thursday with a match against Morgan State.
