WEST CHESTER, PA –
Hannah Stanislawczyk (Mohnton, Pa./Gov. Mifflin) broke the school's all-time record for draw controls while scoring three times and assisting on three others to lead second-ranked West Chester to a 20-5 victory over visiting Shepherd in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division contest at wind-swept Vonnie Gros Field Saturday.
West Chester (10-0, 5-0 PSAC East) controlled the pace of the game throughout in the win over Shepherd (4-6, 2-4).
Meg O'Donnell (Hatboro, Pa./Upper Moreland) led the Golden Rams with four goals.
Sydney Wasdick (Pottsgrove, Pa./Pottsgrove) contributed three goals and four points off the bench in the win.
Julia Littlewood (Berwyn, Pa./Conestoga) posted a seven-point afternoon with a pair of goals and five assists.
Along the way, Stanislawczyk scooped up four draw controls to move past the school's all-time leader, Tori Dugan (2011-13), giving her 303 career draws to her credit.
Jessica Gorr (Exton, Pa./Bishop Shanahan) was called upon to make just four saves in the contest.
Peyton Hagy (Millsboro, Del./Sussex Academy) played the final seven minutes of the game in the cage.
West Chester travels to Millersville next Wednesday for a mid-week showdown with the Marauders that will complete the Golden Rams' first time through the schedule.
