THE STORYLINE
• West Chester (3-1) brings a three-game winning streak into Tuesday's non-league showdown while Millersville (3-1) is coming off a 3-2 victory over New Haven Sunday at home. The Golden Rams and Marauders will meet exactly one month from today in a contest that will count towards the conference standings. Today's battle will most certainly have ramifications for the NCAA Tournament at the end of the year, though.
• West Chester downed Adelphi, 5-0, last Thursday on the road in New York. The Golden Rams then turned around and defeated No. 8 Bloomsburg, 2-1, at home Friday night.
• Sr., F Jasmine Miller (Millersville, Pa./Penn Manor) registered a hat trick in a 5-0 win on the road over Adelphi. It was her third career hat trick and tied her career-high for goals in a game.
• Teammates Ella Shockley (Delmar, Del./Delmar) and Veerle Hersman (Lissa, The Netherlands) each posted one goal in each of West Chester's two games. Miller moved into a tie for sixth place in goals scored all-time at WCU during the Division II era. She has 35 career goals in three years with the Golden Rams. She played at Lock Haven her freshman season.
• Gr. GK Ryan Curley (Malvern, Pa./Great Valley) picked up her 20th career win in the cage after backstopping West Chester to a 2-1 win over Bloomsburg last Friday night. The first 17 came while at La Salle University.

THE SCOOP AGAINST MILLERSVILLE
• West Chester shows an all-time record of 17-11 against Millersville in a rivalry that really was born in 2011 when the Golden Rams reclassified to Division II and joined the PSAC. The two sides met in 1982 and again in 1983 with West Chester winning both.
• Millersville won last year's encounter, 1-0, at Vonnie Gros field. In fact, the last two tilts between these conference powers have been played at West Chester. Overall, the Golden Rams are 11-2 against the Marauders at home. Millersville picked up a 3-1 win in 2013 to accompany last year's 1-0 triumph. But that has been it for the black & gold in the Delaware Valley. West Chester has won all the other showdowns.

GOLDEN RAMS QUIET THE HUSKIES
• West Chester defeated Bloomsburg University, 2-1, last Friday night at Vonnie Gros. The Huskies entered the game undefeated and averaging nearly five goals per game. But, the Golden Rams held them scoreless for 59 minutes. Ryan Curley made a season-high six saves and added another on a penalty stroke in the first quarter. Bloomsburg spoiled Curley's shutout bid in the final minute of the game.
