COMPLETE RESULTS
NEW HAVEN, PA – Two different divers were winners Saturday, and West Chester won 11 different events, as the visiting Golden Rams topped host Southern Connecticut State, 171-69, in a non-league women's swimming meet at Hutchinson Pool.
Tori Willson (Milford, Pa./Delaware Valley) captured the top spot off the 3-meter springboard with a score of 223.10.
Kacey Lenz (Swarthmore, Pa./Ridley) was second off the 3m board with a 185.35.
Alicia McHugh (Jenkinton, Pa./Abington) won the 1m board with a score of 220.90, and
Zoe Gillen (York, Pa./Dallastown) was second with a 175.4. Willson was third on the 1m board to go with her win in the 3m competition.
West Chester rode strong performances from transfer
Susana Quero Ungo. She won both the 400-yard individual medley in 4 minutes, 37.55 seconds and the 200 butterfly in 2:08.4 while helping the 200 medley relay finish first.
Dani Stewart (Dover, Del./Caesar Rodney) won the 1000 freestyle in 10:46.35 with freshman
Ditta Kowalik (State College, Pa./State College Area) finishing right behind her in 10:50.27. The two repeated their performances in the 500 free with Stewart touching the wall first in 5:16.34 and Kowalik second in 5:21.88.
Isabella Kil (Enola, Pa./East Pennsboro) won the 100 free in 53.26 seconds. She also helped the 200 medley relay finish first by swimming the anchor leg.
Madelyn Koehle (State College, Pa./State College Area) won the 200 free in 1:56.9 with teammate
Sam Heiland (West Chester, Pa./West Chester East) right behind her in 2:00.67.
Sam Trumble (Dallastown, Pa./Dallastown) was a winner in the 50 free (24.45) and finished second to Kil in the 100 free.
Allie Defrehn (Mullica Hill, Pa./Clearview Regional) won the 200 backstroke in 2:12.14 with Heiland right behind her in 2:16.16.
West Chester will compete in the PSAC Fall Frenzy and Fall Invitational next weekend in York, Pa.
