AUGUSTA, MI.- Taryn Brandt (Denton, Md./North Caroline) fired a five-over 77 in the opening round to sit in 14th on the individual leaderboard and held West Chester to a tie for sixth (314) after the opening round of Davenport Panther Invitational at Stonehedge Golf Club on Saturday afternoon.
Brandt carded three birdies in her opening round, recording a birdie on the par-four 16
th, par-five 18
th, and par-three fourth.
Morgan Kunze (Limerick, Pa./Spring-Ford), who is playing as an individual this week had perhaps the hole of the day for West Chester as she eagled the par-five ninth as part of her six-over 78.
