HAVRE DE GRACE, Md.-Hannah Lignell (Gothenburg, Sweden/Kitas Gymnasium) shot a five-over 77 to sit atop the individual leaderboard and help West Chester out to a dominant 30-stroke lead on the team leaderboard with an opening round 325.
Lignell carded three birdies in her opening round, including birdies on the par-three third, par-four fourth, and par-five 15
th, as the senior is one of seven Golden Rams in the top-10 after the opening round.
Margaux Solis (Houston, Tx./Klein) is second after the first round with an eight-over 80, while
Cara Murphy (Massillon, Ohio/Jackson), Fatima Rizvi (Lucknow, India/RPS Academies), Kirsten Vanderhorst (Gambrills, Md./Bishop McNamara), and
Taryn Brandt (Denton, Md./North Caroline) are tied for fourth at +12 (84).
Morgan Kunze (Limerick, Pa./Spring-Ford) rounded out the Golden Rams as the seventh and final Golden Ram in the top-10 in a tie for 10
th at +14 (86).
