West Chester Women Fall to Lehigh, 176-67

MEET RESULTS

BETHLEHEM, PA – Alicia McHugh (Jenkintown, PA Abington) and Isabella Kil (Enola, PA East Pennsboro) each turned in a pair of runner-up performances to lead West Chester's effort against Division I Lehigh in a non-league women's swim meet inside Jacob Pool Friday night. However, it was not enough to overcome the Mountain Hawks, 176-67.
 
McHugh scored 229.58 points off of the 1-meter diving board while posting 248.35 points off the 3m board to finish second in each event. Kacey Lenz (Swarthmore, PA Ridley) was third off the 3m board with 234.00 points while placing fourth off the 1m board with 212.25.
 
Kil was runner-up in both the 200-yard individual medley and the 100 breaststroke. She put up a time of 2 minutes, 10.99 seconds in the 200 IM and 1:07.81 in the breast.
 
The only other runner-up individual efforts for the Golden Rams came from Ditta Kowalik (State College, PA State College Area) in the 1000 freestyle and Michalina Jasinska (Warsaw, Poland) in the 100 backstroke.
 
West Chester returns to the pool next Friday when they travel to Bloomsburg for a 5 p.m. meet with the Huskies.
