West Chester is making its 13th appearance in the PSAC Tournament and second straight showing. The Golden Rams have failed to make the postseason tournament just once in head coach
Amy Cohen's 14 years (2023). There was no tournament in 2020.

Cohen is 14-8 overall in the PSAC Tournament and has won the conference title four times (2012, 2014, 2017, 2018). West Chester is 10-2 at home in the tournament and 5-3 in the quarterfinal round. However, the Golden Rams have lost their last two PSAC Quarterfinals (2022, 2024). West Chester is 2-0 all-time against IUP in the postseason with both previous matchups coming at Vonnie Gros Field. The Golden Rams topped the Crimson Hawks, 2-1, in the 2012 semifinals and, 4-1, in the 2016 quarterfinals.

West Chester has reached the PSAC Championship Game twice when beginning the postseason in the quarterfinal round. The Golden Rams won three straight playoff games in 2017 to take the conference crown, and then won their first two playoff games in 2021 before dropping the title game. The Golden Rams are on a three-game losing streak in the PSAC Tournament, dating back to the 2021 PSAC semifinals.

For West Chester, 13 players on the current roster have postseason experience with five of those making at least one start. Only
Ella Shockley and
Kennedy Graham have multiple playoff appearances (2). Both of Shockley's appearances have been starts.
