MEET RESULTS
WEST CHESTER, PA – West Chester won 7 of the 11 events, took first place, third place and fourth place three times while taking second, third and fourth three more times as host West Chester swam past visiting Rowan, 125.5-79.5 inside Graham Natatorium Saturday morning.
Samantha Kil (Enola, PA East Pennsboro),
Michalina Jasinska (Warsaw, Poland) and
Lava Piuva (Malmo, Sweden) made up three of foursome on both relays that each took first place. Kil's older sister,
Bella Kil (Enola, PA East Pennsboro), was the fourth member of the 200-yard medley relay that won.
Sam Heiland (West Chester, PA/West Chester East) was the fourth member of the 400 free relay. Heiland also was runner-up in the 50 freestyle and 200 freestyle while
Bella Kil won both the 100 butterfly and 100 breaststroke to go with her relay win. Piuva won the 50 free, and Jasinska won the 100 backstroke.
Ditta Kowalik (State College, PA State College Area) won the 500 free and finished runner-up in both the 200 free and 1650 free.
West Chester returns to the pool on Nov. 20-22 when the Golden Rams make their annual trip to the Total Performance Invitational at Kenyon University in Gambier, Ohio. The diving team, which was ideal on Saturday, will return to the boards on Nov. 22-23 at the TCNJ Invitational.
