ORLANDO, Fl.- The West Chester University men's tennis team continued its spring break slate in Florida on Wednesday afternoon against Washington College (Md.). West Chester (0-6) fell to the Shoremen by a 6-1 final in a hard-fought match throughout the afternoon.
West Chester started its day with a victory at first doubles as
Felix Weber and Brady Burns won their match by a 7-5 final but this was the lone doubles victory as WAC won the doubles point 2-1.
In singles, Weber took his match to a decisive third set before being edged 10-3 in this set, while
Mateus DeVasconcellos won his fifth singles match by a 6-1, 6-4 final. This was the lone point of the day for West Chester as the Golden Rams fell by a 6-1 final.
