MEET RESULTS
NEW HAVEN, CONN. – West Chester's men's swimming & diving squad picked up a pair of wins with a tri-meet sweep over host Southern Connecticut State University and University of Bridgeport inside Hutchinson Natatorium Saturday afternoon.
West Chester (2-0) won the diving competition with freshman
Tim Daley (Drexel Hill, Pa./Upper Darby) claiming wins on both boards.
Michael Finlaw (Warrington, Pa./Central Bucks South) was second right behind Daley on both boards as well.
Jed Alderfer (Plymouth Meeting, Pa./Plymouth-Whitemarsh) placed fourth off the 3-meter diving board while
Dominick Horning (Williamsport, Pa./Loyalsock) was fourth off the 1m board.
In the pool, senior
Danny Dunigan (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn) won both the 200-yard freestyle and the 500 free. Freshman
Will Rees (York, Pa./Home schooled) won both the 200 individual medley and the 100 breaststroke while swimming the second leg of the 200 medley relay that was also a winner on Saturday.
Til Schroeder (Wiesbaden, Germany) won the 50 free and finished runner-up in the 100 free and was third in the 100 backstroke.
West Chester welcomes New York University to Graham Natatorium on October 10 at 11 a.m. for its home opener of the 2026-2027 campaign.
