ALLENDALE, Mi.- The West Chester University women's golf team returned to the course on Saturday morning for the opening round of the 18
th Annual Gildas Club Fall Laker Invitational. Led by opening rounds of 79 from
Cierra Griffith (Pottstown, Pa./Spring Ford) and
Emerson Glending (Westlake, Ohio/St. Joseph Academy), West Chester shot a 320 as a team on Saturday and sits in eighth on the team leaderboard after the first day of the three-day Invitational.
Griffith and Glending are tied for 25
th after 18 holes, thanks in part to birdies on the par-four 15
th and the par-three third.
