Mike Pryor returned to his alma mater a year ago, helping the Golden Rams reach the NCAA National Championship Game. This fall, he embarks on his second season with Michael Benn's soccer squad at West Chester University - this time as a full-time member and top assistant. His knowledge of the PSAC and rival institutions is a resource for the Golden Rams moving forward.
Pryor comes back to the Golden Rams from the Phoenixville Area Soccer club where he has been Director of Coaching for the past four years. He is also a staff coach with Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Association (EPYSA) Olympic Development Program, owner of Quik Touch Soccer (individual and small group based training) and Head Coach of youth teams within PASC.
His got his first taste of college coaching serving as graduate assistant from 2009-11 at Wilkes University.
A 2009 graduate of West Chester University with a bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies with minors in Professional Education and Health, Pryor played for the Golden Rams from 2005-08. He helped the Golden Rams to a 45-32-6 record in his four years, appearing in 77 games. He was named All-PSAC in 2006 and 2008 and All-Atlantic Region in 2006 as well as WCU Men's Soccer Scholar Athlete in 2008. Pryor received his MBA with a concentration in Marketing and Entrepreneurship from Wilkes University in 2011.
Pryor has a USSF C License, USYS National Youth Diploma, USC Premier Diploma, and USC Director of Coaching Diploma. Â
