Biography

Worked her way into the lineup at third base as a freshman when Jess Schuck went down to an injury early on. ed Schuck's move to second base. Altenburger needs to improve upon her batting average, but the young third baseman can field the position expertly and finished the year with seven doubles and a pair of home runs.

2013: Appeared in 55 games and made 52 starts...registered 34 hits including seven doubles...hit two home runs and knocked in 19 RBI...had 124 assists and recorded 72 putouts... hit a grand slam to break a 4-4 tie and lead West Chester to an 8-5 win over Kutztown during the regular season...went 3-6 in the NCAA quarterfinals against Kutztown
