Katie Walston returns to her alma mater for her third season alongside head coach, and her mentor as a player, Tony DeRemer. Walston exercises the duties of DeRemer's top assistant in helping the Golden Rams' women's rugby team through the riggers of a fall 15s season and a spring 7s campaign. 

Walston graduated from West Chester University in 2015 as the school's all-time leading scorer with 371 career points. Her 112 conversions and two drop kicks during her college career are still school records. She is one of only two players in school history to successfully convert a drop kick for points in a college match.

Walston also brings to the program her experiences with USA Rugby after her college playing days ended in 2014.
