Andrew Huber enters his 12th year as the Assistant Athletics Director for Internal Operations at West Chester University and his 22nd with the Department overall in 2022-23.

In November 2016, Huber returned to WCU Athletics as the Facilities, Operations, and Summer Camps Coordinator before moving into his current role as Assistant Athletics Director for Internal Operations in March 2017. He oversees the athletic department’s nine on-campus facilities, coordinates all summer athletics camps and external facility rentals, as well as managing the business and human resources operations of the Athletics Department.

In addition to his role within the WCU Athletics Department, Huber currently serves as a sport liaison for PSAC Cross Country and Track & Field, he is on the NCAA Men’s Golf Atlantic Region Advisory Committee, and he serves on the NCAA Division II Cross Country National Committee.

Huber joined the West Chester staff in August 2004 as Head Men’s & Women’s Cross Country/Track & Field Coach and Summer Camps Coordinator. He served in various head coaching roles within the cross country and track & field programs until his resignation in July 2016. During his tenure as coach, Huber was a part of a staff that produced twelve NCAA Division II All-Americans and mentoring teams that were consistently named to USTFCCCA All-Academic honors.

Before coming to West Chester, Huber was a high school English teacher at Octorara Area and Coatesville Area High Schools and coached cross country and track & field at Octorara Area and Oxford Area High Schools.

A native of Lincoln University, Pa., Huber graduated from Messiah College in 1996 with an English/Secondary Education degree. While at Messiah, he was a four-year letterwinner and all-conference performer on the track & field team. He earned his master’s degree in Sport Management from California University of Pennsylvania (now Penn West California) in 2011, as well as completing graduate certificate programs in Human Resources (Cornell, 2019), Budget, Accounting, & Financial Management (Rutgers, 2020), and Project Management (Syracuse, 2020).

He currently resides in Landenberg, Pa., with his wife, Jody, and son, Cory.
