Rasheed Bailey begins his first season as an assistant coach at West Chester University on the staff of his former college mentor, Duke Greco. Bailey brings elite-level playing experience, energy and a passion for player development to the collegiate coaching ranks.
Bailey spent six seasons in the Canadian Football League (CFL), highlighted by a standout tenure with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers from 2019 to 2023, helping lead that franchise to back-to-back Grey Cup Championships in 2019 and 2021. In 2021, Bailey recorded 52 receptions for 629 yards and five touchdowns, ranking among the CFL’s top receivers in both receptions and receiving yards. He followed that up with another productive campaign in 2023, totaling 46 receptions for 508 yards and six touchdowns across 18 regular season games.
Bailey also spent time with the Toronto Argonauts and Ottawa Redblacks during the 2024 season.
Prior to his CFL success, Bailey spent four seasons in training camps and on practice squads in the NFL with the Philadelphia Eagles, Jacksonville Jaguars, San Diego Chargers, Cleveland Browns and Carolina Panthers.
Beyond football, Bailey is the Founder and CEO of ShowtimeSpeaks, a motivational speaking and media platform dedicated to empowering youth, schools, and communities through messages of resilience, perseverance, and personal growth. Through his “Process of Life” framework and “The Keep Going Podcast,” Bailey has become a respected voice in leadership, mentorship and community engagement.
Bailey starred collegiately at Delaware Valley University, where he graduated in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in Business and Marketing as one of the most accomplished players in program history. He remains the school’s all-time leader in receiving yards (3,138) and holds multiple single-season receiving records. During his senior season, Bailey led all of NCAA Division III in receiving yards, receiving touchdowns and yards per game while earning the Maxwell Award’s Tri-State Player of the Year honors (2014).
Known for his leadership, work ethic, and ability to connect with student-athletes, Bailey brings a unique blend of professional experience, mentorship and motivational leadership to the coaching profession as he begins his collegiate coaching career.
