Rachel Daltry

Rachel Daltry has been partnering with the athletics department at West Chester University for more than a decade helping student-athletes cope with the stressors of being a college student and a Division II athlete. She has lectured to many of the Golden Rams' athletic teams as well as personally counseling a plethora of student athletes and staff members. Some of her areas of expertise are listed below.
 

Theoretical Orientation: Integrative, drawing primarily from ACT/third-wave behavioral approaches and interpersonal theories. Strong focus on self-compassion, mindfulness, and acceptance.

Special Areas of Interest: Anxiety; perfectionism and self-criticism; guilt and shame; interpersonal difficulties; grief and loss; identity development; sports psychology.

Fun Fact: Rachel is the proud mom to Muddy Puddles.
