The entire West Chester University's men's golf team was selected as they claimed the 2014 PSAC Championship Sunday afternoon at Hershey Links East Course.
The Golden Rams finished the tournament with a score of 604, after a spectacular performance on day two that knocked 16 strokes off of its round one score of 310.
Leading the way for West Chester was senior Eric Slawter (Wayne, Pa./Upper Merion), who scored a 148 over the 36-hole tournament and finished one stroke off the lead.
Zach Boe (Hilton Head, S.C./The Oaks Virtual Academy) tied for sixth place with a 152, while his teammate Ryan Fogel (West Chester, Pa./West Chester East) finished the two-day tournament with a 152 as well.
In addition, Drew Patterson (Hummelstown, Pa./Lower Dauphin) had a 156 to tie teammate Corey Smith (Phoenixville, Pa./Phoenixville) for 18th overall.
This was the first PSAC Championship for coach Harry Hammond.
