Rouse captured Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) defensive player5 of the week in the East Division. The defensive back led all tacklers with seven stops three passes defended with two breakups.
 
He also intercepted a pass in the fourth quarter and took it back 21 yards to the LHUs 43 yard line to set up the final touchdown drive of the game that put the Golden Rams up 33-9 for their third straight win.
 
Overall, Rouse was apart of a defensive unit that shutdown Lock Haven’s offense in the second half, limiting them to nine points on the day and 38 yards of total offense in the second half, including only three in the third quarter.
