How do I sign up for a program or workshop?
- To sign up for a program, you must have an account in Ram Connect. All WCU students have access to RamConnect. You just need to set up your account. All programs will be accessible for registration via RamConnect.
I have an idea for community service, who do I contact?
- If you or your team would like to take part in a community service event or project, but don’t know where to start, contact the SAS GA for assistance!
I am interested in learning more about leadership, how can I do that?
- Take a look at the SAS calendar for programs that incorporate leadership or focus on leadership specifically. You can also visit the Office of Leadership and Involvement for more opportunities at WCU.
I am having a problem with my academics. Where can I go?
- Athletes can contact Dr. Tammy James if they are having trouble. You can also visit the LARC on campus for access to tutoring. Be on the lookout for SAS programs that focus on academics for some tips!
I was thinking of getting a wellness coach. Where can I do that?
- Wellness coaching is available through the Office of Wellness Promotion. You can sign up right on their webpage! https://www.wcupa.edu/_services/wellness/services.aspx
Will any of the SAS programs count towards my co-curricular transcript?
- Some SAS programs will count towards your co-curricular transcript. You will have to check the catalog to see what will and what will not count. If you have any questions, contact Kelli Milliner in the Athletics office.
Do I need to pay to take part in any of the programs?
Is there SAS gear?
- Of course! We have swag to give out for some of our programs and events!
Do I get anything for completing the programs offered?
- Students who complete the Academy will receive recognition awards
- Students who complete the CLAS program will receive recognition awards
