Madison Torresin (Mechanicsburg, Pa. / Cumberland Valley) registered the go-ahead bucket in the final 34 seconds to help the Golden Rams secure their first victory of the season against Gannon on Saturday. In a pair of games this weekend, the junior led the squad in scoring with 33 combined points in addition to grabbing 18 rebounds and seven steals. In the conference victory over Gannon, the junior provided 16 points, six rebounds, and four steals. The following day against Clarion, the forward produced 17 points, 12 rebounds, and 3 steals for her third double-double of the season. Torresin is the Golden Rams’ leading scorer early in the season, averaging 17.5 points and 9.8 rebounds per contest.
