West Chester’s Sarah Kosenske (Mechanicsburg, Pa. / Cumberland Valley) grabbed her first athlete of the week nomination for her performance at Lehigh University this weekend for the Fast Times Before Finals event. The junior leaped her way into first place in the long jump for the Golden Rams with a jump of 17 feet, 8.25 inches. As a result, Kosenske jumped up two spots from seventh to fifth on the all-time list for West Chester. Kosenske also managed to be slated second in the triple jump, receiving a 36 feet, 11.75 inches’ result. Teammate Taylor Pugh (Philadelphia, Pa. / Milton Hershey) grabbed the top spot in the event.
