Jr., SS Nick Ward (Unionville, Pa./Unionville) provided a pair of homeruns as well as 5 RBIs to help No. 12 West Chester sweep Mansfield in a four-game series this weekend. Ward registered a .333 batting average, which included four hits (4-12). The shortstop also added four-runs scored in the sweep. On Saturday, Ward’s three-run blast to right field contributed toward a four-run sixth to seal the victory. The Unionville product now leads the squad with a team-best six homeruns on the season.
