Sr. F Mia Hopkins (Pittston, Pa./Pittston) had another big week this past week as she averaged 16 points per game and 9.5 rebounds per game to help extend West Chester’s winning streak to 16 games.  On Wednesday night against Lock Haven Hopkins played well scoring 14 points while also coming away with nine rebounds in the 82-63 victory. Hopkins also registered three assists and a steal in this victory. On Saturday Hopkins continued to play well as she recorded yet another double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds to help West Chester pull off a massive come from behind victory over East Stroudsburg.  The two victories this week pushes West Chester’s record to 21-4 on the year and West Chester’s 16 game winning streak also ties a program record set back during the 1971-72 season.
