Jillian Grammer (Center Valley, Pa./Southern Lehigh) cemented her place as one of the best volleyball player and arguably the best setter in team history over the weekend as she set the career assist record with 4,641 helpers on her career to go along with 1,236 digs, which is ninth most in team history as well. Grammer had a great week this past week as she ended the week with 177 assists, 48 digs, 22 kills, and 11 aces. Grammer began her week against Millersville on Tuesday night as she posted 46 assists to go along with four kills, three aces and 15 digs in the loss. Grammer and West Chester bounced back on the weekend beginning on Friday night against East Stroudsburg. In this match, Grammer registered another 45 assists while also adding 11 digs, two kills and one ace to help West Chester pull off the victory. On Saturday it was more of the same as Grammer added 55 assists against Kutztown to go along with 15 digs, nine kills and a pair of aces to help West Chester improve to 2-1 on the week. Grammer capped her weekend on Saturday evening against Virginia State when she tallied 31 helpers to go along with seven kills, five aces and seven digs to help West Chester go 2-0 on senior day.
