Sr. G Tyrell Long (Philadelphia, Pa./Bishop McDevitt) was spectacular this week as he led the Golden Rams to a pair of victories over PSAC East rivals Millersville and Kutztown.  Long averaged 27 points per game while also averaging 12 rebounds per game. On Saturday afternoon Long shot a blistering 68.8 percent from the field including a perfect 100 percent from the charity stripe and three-point land. This lights out shooting performance powered Long to a career-high 34 points in the victory 108-99 road victory over Kutztown.  Long also retrieved a game-high 15 rebounds while chipping in five assists and a pair of steals. Tyrell also performed well on Wednesday night in the Golden Rams 107-63 victory over Millersville. In this contest Long recorded a team-high 20 points and finished just one rebound shy of a double-double. He also tied for the team high in assists with seven and was only charged with one turnover along the way.  Prior to this week the Golden Rams had not eclipsed the 100-point mark in back-to-back games since November of 2013 when they put up 103 and 109 in victories over Mansfield and Bowie State. This is also believed to be the first time in program history that the Golden Rams have eclipsed the 100-point plateau in back-to-back games against PSAC opponents.  West Chester now holds a record of 17-4 overall and a record of 13-4 in conference play entering the stretch run of the season.
