Ann Carozza (West Chester, Pa./West Chester East) had another strong weekend competing for the first time in over a month in the Golden Rams Classic. The layoff seemed to have no impact on Carozza as she picked up right where she left off winning three individual events while also swimming on three winning relay teams. The freshman captured the 100 and 200 butterfly while also winning the 100 free with a new pool record time of 50.61 seconds. Carozza also swam on three winning relay teams as she was a part of the 200 free relay, 400 medley relay, and 200 medley relay. Carozza’s efforts played a major role in helping West Chester to capture a pair of victories over Ursinus and Albright as WCU ended the meet with 1162 points while Ursinus had 620 and Albright had 102 points at the conclusion of the meet.
