Madison Baxter (Downingtown, Pa./Downingtown East) had a huge week this past week registering four goals and a pair of assists for 10 points on the week. Baxter started her big week on Wednesday afternoon against Mansfield when she had a hand in all four West Chester goals for a career-high six points. Baxter’s goals against Mansfield were bookends as she scored the first goal of the game just three minutes in before scoring the final goal of the game in the 65^th minute. Baxter also assisted on Hannah Grandell and Hannah Zach’s goals scored in between her goals to help West Chester cruise to a 4-0 victory. On Sunday afternoon, Baxter was up to her old tricks once again scoring another two goals this time scoring the second and third goals of the game to help West Chester cruise to a 4-0 victory over Indiana (Pa.). This is the first time in 2018 that a Golden Ram has recorded back-to-back multi-goal performances. Baxter now leads the team in all three major categories with 21 points on the year thanks to eight goals and five assists. West Chester will enter the PSAC Tournament as the No. 4 seed, which will setup a rematch with Lock Haven on Tuesday afternoon.
