So., PK Shawn Leo set a new school record for field goals in a single season with his three field goals on Saturday. Leo booted field goals of 39, 47 and 48 yards with the latter effort tying his career high set last season. It marked the third time in WCU's five games that he made at least three field goals. Leo now has 13 field goals made in 15 attempts on the season. It took him just five games to top the old mark of 12 field goals in a single season, which was set in 1984.
